KUCHING: All the 15 finalists of the Miss World Harvest Festival (WHF) 2013 yesterday showcased their hidden talents as they compete for the subsidiary Miss Talent 2013 title.
The event was held concurrently with the launching of the Sarawak Headgear and Beads Promotion Expo at Sarawak Cultural Village theatre here.
The winner of the title will be known at the grand finale of the contest.
Last night’s event was officiated at by Sarawak Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg.
For the title, the 15 finalists each performed and sang songs.
Noraini Sabu sang ‘Ketahuan’ made popular by Matta Band, Rosalind Sajah sang ‘These boots are made for walking’ by Nancy Sinatra, Cornellia Johnek sang ‘Erti Cinta’ by Maya Karin and Claudia Panti sang ‘Chasing Pavement’ by Adele.
