Kaamatan cultural performance

KOTA KINABALU: Locals and tourists alike will be treated to a spectacular and mesmerising Kaamatan Cultural Diversity Rendezvous, showcasing the various sub ethnic tribes of Sabah through food, song, dance and music at the Kadazandusun Cultural Association’s cultural village, near here,

Event organising chairman Bennedict Topin said the rendezvous would offer visitors the chance to witness and enjoy the Kadazandusuns’ cultural diversity with each of the houses holding a mini festival of its own.

He said the cultural diversity rendezvous would be one of many activities held in conjunction with the Harvest Festival or Pesta Kaamatan, which would culminate during the grand finale today and tomorrow.

“The event promises to be a truly eye opening insight into Sabah’s ethnic culture, all in one place,” he said here Monday.
