Royal Brunei Airlines raises fuel charges on selected routes

Royal Brunei Airlines is increasing its fuel surcharge on selected routes for tickets issued on and after June 1, 2008.

Released yesterday, the increase applies to tickets issued in Brunei for travel to and from Bandar Seri Begawan.

For Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Surabaya, Manila and Ho Chi Minh City, fuel and insurance surcharge each way has increased to B$60.

Increases in other sectors include Hong Kong at B$75, Perth and Brisbane at B$95, Dubai and Jeddah at B$110 and Auckland at B$130, and London at B$160, each way.

According to Royal Brunei Airlines, in line with standard industry practice, it will continue to monitor the price of jet fuel and will adjust the application of fuel surcharges appropriately.
