SIBU: The 10th Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) parade was a grand and colourful affair involving 1,800 participants from 56 contingents.
Second Finance Minister Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh led the procession, which began at 7pm on Friday.
Lanang Member of Parliament and Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King, Temenggong Vincent Lau and SMC deputy chairman Daniel Ngieng also joined the 2km parade.
The parade moved from Chuang Corridor to Island Road at Sibu Town Square before heading towards Channel Road, Central Road, Raminway, Morshidi Road and Sanyan Road.
