Sarawak attracts Dutch tourists

DJOSER Holland Travel Agency is helping to promote eco-tourism in the state by bringing in tourists from the Netherlands.

Its tour leader, who wished to be identified only as Ellen, said her company had brought in two tour groups to the state so far.

The first group comprising 15 people came three months ago and the second group of 19 are still in the state.

She said the agency had formed a strategic partnership with Miri-based travel agent Tropical Adventure to take tourists from Holland to various unique destinations.

The latest group arrived early this week and their first stop was Kuching where they took in the city’s sights and sounds.

From there, they proceeded to Bako National Park for a jungle trek to experience the wonders of nature.
