KUCHING: The public will once again have the opportunity to select their favourite design on T-shirts to be produced as merchandise items for both the Rainforest World Music (RWMF) and Borneo Jazz (BJ) Festivals 2012 and at the same time and stand a chance to win tickets to the festivals.
Throughout the years of running the two iconic events, Borneo Jazz and Rainforest World Music Festival, Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) has recognised talents of local university students to design T-shirts to be used for the events.
This year is no different. Students of universities and institutions of higher learning in Malaysia have been invited to send in their designs.
The general public is now invited to pick their favourite design. Not only will the winning designer be rewarded and their university commended but you, the voters, will stand a chance to win tickets to the festivals.
A T-shirt voting (for the best design) event will be held in collaboration with tHeSpring at the shopping mall this weekend.
Make a date to come down tomorrow (March 2) from 11.30am to 10pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, March 3 and 4, from 10am to 10pm.
Limited Borneo Jazz and Rainforest World Music Festivals tickets will also be available only at the event at 50 per cent discount.
