Imperial Hotels’ ‘Gingerbread House’ project targets RM10,000 this year

MIRI: The recreational clubs of two sister hotels, namely Imperial Hotel and Imperial Palace Hotel, have launched their annual ‘Gingerbread House’ project.

The charity programme, for Christmas, began at Imperial Palace Hotel’s lobby yesterday.

Imperial Hotels Group general manager Su Sii Jiong said it had set a target to collect at least RM10,000 from the fundraiser.

“With Christmas just around the corner, it’s that time again for us to share the love and warmth with everybody through this charity project.

“This year, the Palliative Care Association of Miri and Human Life Service of Miri would be the beneficiaries of this programme – each will receive RM5,000 from the proceeds.”

In view of this, Su called for support from the guests as well as members of the public to make this year’s edition a success.

“They can support by purchasing Christmas cookies and cakes at the Gingerbead House, available at both hotels.
